Show Legion Auxiliary Holds Meeting A special installation of officers of-ficers meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary, Wm. R. Sands Unit No. 5, was held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. W. R. Harris. District -President JoAnn Tol-boe Tol-boe installed the following officers: of-ficers: President, Fannie Felter; 1st vice-president, Lydia Niell son; 2nd vice-president, Alexia Cooper; secretary - treasurer, Odie Hemphill; sergeant-at-arms, Lydia Peatross; chaplain, Oiga Solmonson; historian, Gladys Harris. About twenty members were present, including four visitors, Mrs. Tiny Wilkins, District No. 5 president-elect, Mrs. Clysta Angus and Mrs. Marion Moore, all of Basin Post Unit No. 64 of Roosevelt, and Mrs. Velma McKeen, a Unit No. 5 member, now residing in Dallas, Texas. A social meeting was enjoyed at the close of the business session ses-sion and refreshments were served to the jolly group. Mrs. Bliss Lott was hostess to the Friday Bridge Club, Friday Fri-day afternoon. Refreshments and an afternoon of bridge were enjoyed by Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. Homer . Robinson, Mrs. James Dalgieish.. -Mrs. Ted Thomas, Mrs. v"; H. Linck and Miss Alice Todd. High score prize was awarded to Mrs. Linck. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Dart, of Price, visited one day last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart and attended to property pro-perty interests while here. Emery Nielson went to Salt Lake City, Thursday for medical attention, returning that evening. eve-ning. Dr. and Mrs. R. C. Dalgieish and daughter, Marie, were visitors vis-itors Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgieish. Mr. and Mrs. Carl McKeever and small son, Danny, who have been visiting during the past two weeks at the home of Mrs.. McKeever's mother, Mrs. Alice' Brummett, left Friday to return re-turn to their home in Dallas Texas. Mrs. J. R. Bywater and daughter, Sarah, returned Friday Fri-day from Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Bywater has been receiving medical attention during dur-ing the past twp weeks. Lawrence Law-rence Bywater brought his mother and sister from Salt Lake City, returning home that evening. Mrs. Bywater is slightly slight-ly improved, but will return to Salt Lake late this week for further X-rays and examination. examina-tion.
