Show Party Honors Louis Reese Monday night, June 14, a party was given at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt in honor of Louis Reese, who resigned as the manager of the Moon Lake Electric. All employees of the association were present. Those from Altonah attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Reese, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy,' Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monson and Mrs. Minnie Lou Stevenson. Other guests who are not employees from Altonah were Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Palm. Dinner and dancing dan-cing were enjoyed by the group. A beautiful gift was presented to Mr. and Mrs. Reese. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Young and family, of Ogden, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump. They enjoyed en-joyed a-fishing trip while here. Word was received , in Altonah Al-tonah of the birth of a baby boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. La-vern La-vern Wall, of Bonanza, at the Vernal Hospital, June 5. Mrs. Wall is the former Connie Timothy, Tim-othy, a resident of Altonah. Dennis Davis and Billy Wall were thrown from a horse Thursday, June 17 when the horse became frightened. They were taken . to Roosevelt for medical care. It was found they were only bruised and shaken up. Dennis is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump and is visiting here from Salt Lake City and Billy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wall, of Alta- yyi nnt |
