Show Indian Mission Hakes Tour Of Provo Area (Crowded Out Last Week) TABIONA (Special) A special spe-cial excursion of the Uintah Basin Indian mission with missionaries mis-sionaries and Indian participating participat-ing under the direction of Pres. James Bacon, was held Sunday. The excursion began with a tour of the Brigham Young University with President Wil-kerson Wil-kerson welcoming the visitors. They also visited other points of interest in Provo, including the Tabernacle, built in 1880. At noon, they enjoyed a lunch and strawberry feast at the Linden ward in Orem, under the direction of Bishop Atwood. A special meeting was held in the Linden ward with the following fol-lowing participating on the program: pro-gram: two songs, by Clark Oarum; two' songs, by Alfonso Cuch; two songs, by the Cess-pooch Cess-pooch sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith, who are missionaries from Tab-iona, Tab-iona, accompanied the group, with the Mountain family from Utahn riding to Provo with them in their car. Others who visited with the group were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stutz, Arthur Wiscomb, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jones, Whiterocks; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Price, of Randlett, and Glen Mohlman, of Altonah. |
