Show Dads Have A Day Fathers of the ward were honored last Sunday morning, when a program was presented by the Primary in place of the regular classes of Sunday School. An hour of appropriate songs, poems and short talks was given, after which each father was presented with a handkerchief by the boys of the Blazer class. All officers and teachers of the Neola Primary (with the exception of Zola Spencer, who is visiting in Taco'ma, Wash.) attended the two-stake convention conven-tion which was held at Vernal . last Saturday. Bobbie LaRose had the misfortune mis-fortune to break his shoulder while playing at the rodeo grounds last Wednesday evening. eve-ning. Shana Lin and Crae Hancock, of Pleasant Valley, spent a few days here with their grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whiting. Whit-ing. Word has been received from Boston that Mrs. Fairon Smith, the former Carolyn Whiting, has accepted a secretarial position posi-tion with the Goodyear Tire Co. in that city.' Weekend guests at the Oluf Duncan home were Mr. and Mrs. Met Nickell and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Smith. Twenty-four friends of Tonea Holmes gathered at her home last Wednesday to help her celebrate her fourth birthday. In addition to the usual games, the little ones were entranced with a duck and a terrapin, which were recently brought by the family from Oklahoma. Party Par-ty refreshments climaxed the festivities.
