Show AMY R. WARTHEN Funeral serveces were held today at 12:30 in the Roosevelt LDS stake chapel for Mrs. Amy Rowland Row-land Warthen, 78, widow of Thomas A. Warthen, who died Monday at 9:07 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age. Bishop Alva C. Snow of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Third ward conducted the services. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was born May 8, 1878, in Springville to George and Amy Naylor Rowland. She married Mr. Warthen Jan. 24, 1900. He died in June 1955. They had lived in the Roosevelt area since 1908, and had been a member of the Roosevelt j ward since 1948, having moved here from Ballard. Surviving are two sons and two i daughters, Frank R., Springville; Ralph A., Mrs. Clarence (Florence) AUred, Salt Lake City; Eliza War-then, War-then, Vernal; five grandchildren; a brother and four sisters; John Rowland, Magna; Fannie, Louisa, Hannah and Grace Rowland all of Springville. Burial was in the Roosevelt city cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. ROSALAND MILLS WHITEROCKS Funeral services were held in the Episcopal church here Tuesday at 1 p.m. for Rosa-land Rosa-land Mills, 11-month old daughter of Odell and Ethel Tapoff Mills, who died of pneumonia Dec. 6 in the Roosevelt hospital. The baby was born Jan. 12, 1956 at Roosevelt and is survived by its parents, two sisters, Lorna and Delphina and the following half-sisters half-sisters and half-brothers, Vernetta, Marion, Delbert and Joseph Tap-off, Tap-off, all. of Whiterocks; two grandparents, grand-parents, Harry Mills, Ft. Duchesne and Mrs. Lizzie Tom, Towaoc, Colo. Burial was in the John Harms' cemetery at Whiterocks.
