Show LEONARD G. MORTENSEN Leonard George Mortensen, 67, Salt Lake City, died suddenly in a Salt Lake hospital, Monday, Dec. 3. He and his brother, Levi, founded found-ed the Western Creamery Co. in 1919 and later he was associated with the Mountain States Creamery, Cream-ery, which operated in Myton and was very prominent here. At the time of his death, he was president of Southern . Utah Fuel Co. in i Salina, Sevier Co. and was a dir- j ector of Mortensen Finance Co. in Richfield. He was born February 28, 1889 in Ephraim, a son of Niels F, and Matilda Nielsen Mortensen. He had lived in Salt Lake since 1919 and was a Seventy in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Joan Sorensen in Ephraim in 1917 and she died in 1944. On March 28, 1946 he mar-ied mar-ied Deaun Bishop in Salt Lake City. Surviving are his widow, 1 son, John L. Mortensen.
