Show Randlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen P-TA MET MONDAY The Avalon P-TA was held Thursday evening with President Genevieve Daggley conducting the meeting. Speaker for the evening was Mrs. Lola Christensen, Supervisor Super-visor for the County school lunch: Iowa Hacking played several select on his accordion. Leon Christensen was a visitor. After the program a . short business meeting was held. Light refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Myril Moore took her mother, Mrs. Oscar Sweat of Green dale to Salt Lake Monday to visit Mrs. Moores sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Toone. Mr. Toone is in the hospital. He has a blood clot in his leg. Mrs. Moore and her mother returned home Tuesday evening. A group of people from heTe attended the band concert at Union last Wednesday evening. Mrs. Hazel Wardle, Mrs. Myril Moore and Mrs. Nellie Harris went to Roosevelt Wednesday and had chocolates dipped for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Searle and family and Mrs. Afton Rogers and daughter Judy and Mrs. Betty Jensen and baby son Max were Vernal visitors Thursday. Larry Dudley of Springville spent Thursday visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dudley. Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler went to Salt Lake to visit over the weekend. Garr Brough of Layton brought his sister-in-law, Mrs. Lydia Brough home to visit her family over the weekend. LARKS HAVE PARTY The Lark class visited Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Florence Elsworth. The girls presented a musical program and served sand- wiches, cookies and cocoa. Presi-. Presi-. dent Donna Pickup was a special . guest. Mr .and Mrs. Albert Daniels ; of Ft. Duchesne visited during the week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. John Young and Mr. and Mrs. Ward Jarman. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Jarman and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Young visited Sunday evening in Jensen at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Broome and family. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen received re-ceived word that Mr. and Mrs. Van Jensen of Salt Lake are the proud parents of a baby boy. Mr .and Mrs. Grant Jarman of Roosevelt are parents of a baby boy born at the Roosevelt hospital. |
