Show School Chorus Will Sing Cantata In Stake House Sun. "The Carols of Christmas" by Ellen Jane Lorenz will be presented present-ed by the Duchesne School mixed chorus Sunday at the Duchesne Stake House. The cantata program, directed ' by Joseph M. Moody, school music instructor, will begin at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to see and hear this sacred cantata, which is a new presentation NaDene Wright is accompanist for the 60-voice mixed chorus. Opening choral number in the cantata is "Come Say the Carols of Christmas." The final number is ''Thrice Holy Day.'" Traditional Christmas carols and some unfamiliar un-familiar ones are included in the choral numbers. "Bring A Torch to !.the Manger," is title of the song sung by the mixed quartet, Lucinda McDonald, Loretta Peat-ros's, Peat-ros's, Jimmy Johnstun and Charles Lott. ' Tableau scenes will be directed by Arlehe Wimmer and Carma Smith, high school students. Soloists for the cantata are Ro-Jean Ro-Jean Cole, Marie Murray, Jery Moon, Kay Stevenson, Wayne Baum, Allen Moon, LaVonne Moeller and EcceLyn Esauk. En-semblists En-semblists include Carolyne Bur-dick, Bur-dick, Marjorie Liddell, Donna Swasey, Ann Broadhead, Geraldine Broadhead, Jim Tippetts, Marlehe Davies, Lucinda McDonald, Loretta Lor-etta Peatross, Charles Lott, Jimmy Johnstun, Guy Mayhew and Elden Buckalew. |
