Show Delinquent Taxes Due Soon If Sale Cost Avoided Taxpayers responsible for an amount equal to about one fourth of Duchesne County's real estate and personal property taxes must pay penalties on their 1956 levies. County treasurer Leland Wright said about 73 per cent of the taxes were paid by the Nov. 30 deadline $315,279 of the $434,350 tax bill. Until Dec. 31, delinquent taxpayers tax-payers may pay their taxes with only 2 per cent simple interest and a $1.00 advertising charge for each tax entry. Tax payments stop until Jan. 10, date of the annual tax sale, when the county takes an equity in the real estate for the amount of all unpaid taxes for 1956, plus penalties penal-ties and other costs. |
