Show KNIFE AND FORK CLUB ROOSEVELT The Knife and FoTk 4-H Club met July 21 at the home of their leader Beryl Johnstun. The meeting was opened by Wilda Bascom. We cooked eggs four different ways. There were five members present. Lorraine Allred, Reporter h-h-h-h FASHIONETTES BLUEBELL The Fashion-ettes Fashion-ettes met Thursday, July 15, 1954 at the Bluebell ward house. Our secretary, June Powell, Pow-ell, called the meeting to order. Darlene Huxford said the opening open-ing prayer. The health lesson was given by Marolyn Clark, on "Your Hair and Its Care." We began at our work. Janet Seeley led us in the 4-H and American Pledge, and Marolyn Clark said the closing prayer. We adjourned at 4:00 o'clock. The Fashionetts met Thursday, Thurs-day, July 22, 1954 at the ward house. Our president, Pauline Winkler, called the meeting to order. Shana Lee Winkler said the opening prayer, the health lesson was given by Maxine Owens. Janet Seeley led in the Pledge of Allegiance and Pauline Paul-ine Winkler led us in the 4-H Pledge. We adjourned at 4:00 o'clock. Janet Seeley, Reporter h-h-h-h THE SIXETTES NEOLA We met at the home of our leader, Mrs. Laura Dye. Our meeting began at 2:00 p.m. Meeting was called to order or-der by our president, Helen Anderton. Then we -went into the kitchen to prepare a breakfast. break-fast. Oranges, cocoa, toast, hamburgers and eggs were prepared. pre-pared. Meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m. Linda Davis, Reporter h-h-h-h LUCKY CLOVER CLUB BRIDGELAND The Lucky Clover Club was held Monday, July 19 at the home of Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald. The time was spent making dish towels. Refreshments Re-freshments were ice cream, cupcakes cup-cakes and lemonade. A few minutes min-utes were spent in play time. Arlene Wright, Reporter h-h-h-h ROOSEVELT HOMEMAKERS Friday, July 16, the Roosevelt Roose-velt Homemakers met at the home of Marilyn Winterton to make fruit shakes and cina-mon cina-mon toast. Marilyn presided and Ellen Anderton gave the health lesson. Joan Zimmerman gave a demonstration on how to separate sep-arate an egg.. We made our fruit salad and cinnamon toast and then ate them. After which Laura Leav- itt showed us how to wash dishes. dish-es. On July 23rd at 10:00 the Roosevelt Homemakers met at the home of Saundra Asay. Joan Zimmerman gave the health lesson, and Laura Ann Leavitt gave a talk oti Hair Beauty On a Budget We then adjourned j to the kitchen, where we made banana milk shakes and oatmeal oat-meal and rice, which we then ate. Our next meeting was to be at Mrs. Anderson's next Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at 7:00, where we planned for a pot-luck supper. sup-per. DELENS AND NIPS ARCADIA The members of the Delens and Nips enjoyed themselves very much Monday night, when they had a swimming swim-ming party and weiner roast at Lake Boren. The three girls, Eleanor Capson, Marsha Lusty and Linda Larsen first attended 4-H meeting and then were taken tak-en to the lake by their leader. Mrs. Lusty. Lucy and Margaret Rae Lusty went along.
