Show EVANS RETURN FROM FLORIDA Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Evans have just returned home from Orlando, Florida, where they have spent the past 14 months. Staff Sgt. Evans has been released re-leased from the service after serving 4 years in the Air Force. Thirty months of his time was spent in Kyusha, Ja- pan, and for the past 14 months he has served at Pinecastle Air Force Base, Orlando, Florida. Mr. Evans was formerly of Boneta and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Evans now reside in Vernal. Mrs. Evans is the former Donna Miles, of Mtn. Home. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Campbell last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Holman, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Buchanan and two children and Don Steadman, of Provo. The group, accompanied accom-panied by Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Bellon, spent the weekend at the U-Bar Ranch in Uinta Canyon. Can-yon. Mr. and Mrs. Dick King and three children, of Fullerton, Calif., enjoyed visiting two weeks at the home of Mrs. King's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Scurlock. Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings and family returned Tuesday from a vacation trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park, reporting a wonderful wonder-ful time. ' Leaving Tuesday after spending spend-ing the weekend at the Lynn Poulson home were Mrs. Stella Shail and .son, Lamar, of Rex-burg, Rex-burg, Idaho'. . Mrs. Shail is Mr. Poulson's sister. Jeannette Linarze, 1 of Sandy, is visiting at the home of her aunt, Mrs. John Christensen. She arrived Sunday, planning to stay for the UBIC. Mrs. Bert Burgess and daughter, daugh-ter, Joan, left Wednesday for San Diego to visit with Jack Burgess, who' is stationed there with the U S. Naval service. Visiting at the Howard Andrews An-drews home is Mr! Andrew's sister, Mrs. Ella Belcher, of Juneau, Alaska. Reed Lyman and son, Michelle, Mi-chelle, who left recently to make their home in Richfield, were Roosevelt visitors Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. 'H. Norman and children, of Dallas, Texas, have been visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Norman. Mrs. Wayne Malin left this week for Salt Lake City after hearing of the sudden death of her sister, Priscilla Cartwright, of New York, who was visiting in New England. Dick Adams, accompanied by Herb Snyder of Vernal, left Friday morning for San Francisco Fran-cisco to get Mrs. Sam Snyder and son, Jonny, who will return re-turn to Roosevelt where they will await Sam's release from the service. The latter was to undergo an operation in San Francisco and his father will remain with him until he has recuperated. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Harri-son and children, Nancy and Bob, left Wednesday morning for a Vacation. They planned to join the Dr. John Z. Brown family in Salt Lake City, and then leave for a ten-day trip to Laguna Beach, Calif.. Mr. and Mrs. J. V. McLea and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Harm-ston, Harm-ston, Pam, Gordy, Holly and Howard, Jr., left Monday to attend at-tend a reunion at Bear Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Timothy and sons, Lee and Neal, Walter and Bernard Adams, all of Salt Lake City, were holiday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy. .; Mr. and Mrs. Murry Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Dean, of Salt Lake City, came out for their son, Earl, who has been visiting with his grandparents, the Earl Timothys, for two' weeks. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Karl Schwencke and daughter, Linda, left Wednesday Wed-nesday morning after spending several days at the Clair Larsen home. They enjoyed a fishing trip while here. Recent visitors at the Cliff Memmotts were Mrs. George B. Wallace and daughter, Joan, and Mrs. W. F. Myers of Price. The latter remained to spend several weeks with the Memmotts. Mem-motts. A trip to the U-Bar Ranch was enjoyed by the group. Kent Memmott accompanied his aunt, Mrs. Wallace, to Price for a vacation. Joan remained for a week's visit in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rose-crans Rose-crans and family have returned from a week's vacation trip to Salt Lake City, where they visited vis-ited relatives. It's good to see Ted Jensen up and abotit he is still nursing nur-sing his broken foot, a result of a softball game, but is out and around now. Houseguests at the George Pulos home this week are Mr. and Mrs. Nofval Massey and family of Wilson Creek, Colo., Mrs Bill Walker of Coulee Dam, Wash., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boyer and son, Carl, of Salt Lake City. They enjoyed an outing at Hanson's cabin while here. Mr., and Mrs. Sam Weiss spent last weekend in Salt Lake City. They were accompanied by Mrs. Weiss' mother, Mrs. Eva Ellis, who will spend a month there with relatives. |
