Show Learn To Swim A new summer activity has begun for the local children. Each Thursday at 10 a.m., the school bus, driven by Curtis Bastian, will take them to Vernal, Ver-nal, where they may receive instructions in-structions in swimming at the municipal pool there. As this schedule conflicts with Primary the day for the meetings of that organization has been changed to Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. until further notice. Looking forward to entering college this fall are Shirley Cloward, Ann Peterson and Maralyn Peterson, who motored to Provo last Saturday to look over facilities offered at the BYU. Thev were chauffered by Freeman Dye, who visited with a daughter, LaVon, now attending attend-ing school ' there., Mrs. Durrell McMullin is making her home with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Horrocks Hor-rocks since her husband , has been inducted into the armed forces. Weekend visitors at the Victor Vic-tor Horrocks home were Mrs. Leora Peterson and two children and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Horrocks, Hor-rocks, with their son and daughter, daugh-ter, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ronald Wiscombe spent a few days here with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Rhoades. Her daughter, Carol, returned home with her, after spending some time here. The Wiscombe family is leaving for South Dakota in the near future, fu-ture, where Mr. Wiscombe is employed. Mrs. Dace Mitchell and daughter, daugh-ter, Edna, have been visiting in Heber City, with Mrs. Del-pha Del-pha Lewis, another daughter, who has been ill. Mrs. Verl Haslem, Lonnie and Alene Peterson spent Sunday in Salt Lake City. RELIEF SOCIETY MAKES CHANGES Several changes were made in the Relief Society organization organiza-tion last Sunday. Esther Halver-son Halver-son was released as work leader; lead-er; Kate Duncan as literature teacher; Fern Allred, as teachers teach-ers topic teacher.
