Show BMDGELAND Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Utah Pioneers Present Program The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Pio-neers presented a program at the Bridgeland ward chapel on the evening of July 24th. A very large crowd from the Arcadia and Bridgeland wards were in attendance. atten-dance. Histories were given by Mrs.. Cecila Gilbert and Mrs. John Gilbert, of Arcadia; a vocal solo, "Utah We Love Thee," was sung by Louise Liddell. Mrs. Edith Brady, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Alice Warren, of Vernal, attended a family reunion re-union at Salt Lake on Saturday. Louise Liddell was a Salt Lake City visitor the first part of the week. , Mr. and Mrs. Earvin Murphy visited during the week at American Amer-ican Fork and Salt Lake City. Rodney Meyer is visiting at Sandy with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gaily. Saturday guests of Mrs. Jane Murphy were: Mr. and Mrs, Parley Par-ley Brown, Mrs. Ethel Bisel and daughter, Inez, of Wanship. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Marrett, of Riverton, were visiting their aunt, Mrs. Jane Murphy, on Friday Fri-day and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Marret. Mrs. Shirley Mortensen, of My-ton, My-ton, and small son spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. She also attended Sunday School here. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meyer visited vis-ited Sunday at Salt Lake and Sandy with relatives. Karen Murphy visited last week at Price, with relatives. Mr, and Mrs. Jack Gilispie, of Tooele, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Halladay attended at-tended a family reunion at Circle-villest Circle-villest Saturday. Thursday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee were: Mrs. DeVere Hancock and boys, of Pleasant Valley, Mrs. Lyn Dean and children, of South Myton Bench and Mrs. Frank Monks, of Hayden, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Van Keele, of Price, visited last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, Mrs. Lon Farnsworth, of Tal-' mage, spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell'. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call and family attended a Call reunion at Daniels Canyon, Saturday. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call were: Mr. and Mrs. A, G. Ivatt, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ivatt is a sister of Mr. Call, and Frang McKibben and sons, Johnny and Harvey, of LaCananda, Calif. Mrs. Norman Robb, of Utahn, visited Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith Saturday. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Robb also called at Mrs. Letta Meyers' home. Mrs. Norman Abbott, of Tab-iona, Tab-iona, visited Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell. Lid-dell. Mr, and Mrs. Vere Neilsen, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn attended the wedding dance of their niece, RaNae Thomas at Tabiona, Saturday Satur-day evening. ATTENDS WEDDING Mrs. Zeda Brady and daughters, daugh-ters, Helen and Lucile, of Provo, came out Friday to attend the wedding of her niece, RaNae Thomas of Tabiona. She visited her father, J. R. Clayburn, and other relatives while here. Bertie Lisonbee spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald made a business trip to Salt Lake Friday. Fred Giles returned to his home in Ogden, after spending the last two months here helping on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald. Fitz-gerald. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shephard returned re-turned to their home here, Sunday, after a ten-day honeymoon trip through the Northwestern States The young couple was married July 22 at the Manti Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal took a group of 4-H girls to the summer sum-mer camp at Uinta Canyon last week. Girls from Bridgeland enjoying en-joying the encampment were: Jo ann Shephard, Edna Neilsen, Ja-Nae Ja-Nae and Karren Liddell, Betty and Coleen Fitzgerald and Mary Barker. Bar-ker. Mrs. DeVere Ostler, of Hancock Han-cock Cove, visited Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters and daughter, Ruth, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gillispie of Tooele, were Friday Fri-day evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright at Utahn. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walters and family, of Salt Lake, spent three days last week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs," Malcolm Walters. |
