Show LeetonBennett Mrs. Fern Houston Wins Scholarship Mrs. Joyce Bolton, contestant in an art contest, won a $200 scholarship training course. She may remain at home and take a correspondent course. She received re-ceived a telegram stating she had received a rating among the first five contestants. Mrs. Joyce Bolton, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, gave a house-warming party par-ty honoring Mrs. Reva Hall at her home in Leeton. She received re-ceived many nice gifts and a lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Haslem, of Stockton, Utah, were weekend visitors at the homes of his brothers, John. Clain and Von. They were all entertained at the home of Von on Thursday evening. It is the first time the brothers have all been together for some time. Mrs. Mary Hamaker was visiting vis-iting at the home of her son, Marvin. She lives at Dugway, Utah. Mrs. Floyd Harmston entertained enter-tained at a Sunday night dinner party. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, of Provo, were visitors at the J. A. Houston home on Saturday. Sat-urday. Mrs. George Houston entertained enter-tained at a Sluff .party in honor hon-or of Mr., and Mrs. Lawrence Yack. The family of Martin Hamaker Ham-aker of Price, were weekend visitors at the Marvin Hamaker home. W. H. Coltharp is at home again after a medical check-up in Salt Lake City. He is very cheerful and feeling better. |
