Show Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Get Blue Ribbon The "Wishbone Snappers, Ilia Vaye Lemon, Ravona Campbell, Louise Gentry, Marcia Lemon and Regina Reay, the Ioka 4-i 4-i year cooking club, exhibited in I the group at the State Fair. They all received a blue ribbon. Their leader was Edith Gentry. I ; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lemon and children, of Tacoma, Wash., spent Friday with Boyd's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Lem-on. Mrs. Virgil Mecham and daughter, Mrs. Lois Bird, of j Hancock Cove, called on .Mrs. Mecham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemop, one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Workman, Work-man, of Salt Lake City, visited Mrs. Workman's father, James Ames, Saturday. Mrs. Olive Sorensen returned home last week from Monroe, Salt Lake City and Spanish Fork. Mrs. Bill Fausett visited her daughters. Mrs. Craig Caldwell, and Mrs. Barbara McCarro'll, of Vernal, Wednesday. Visitors at the O. A. Dart farm the past week were Mrs. Dart's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker, of Portland, Oregon; Attorney and Mrs. B. L. Dart of Price, and Mrs. Willis Dart and little son. Donald, of Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Washburn Wash-burn and children, of Spanish Fork, spent Monday and Tuesday Tues-day with Wesley's mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Lloyd Jensen left Monday for Salt Lake City, where he has employment. Ilia Vave Lemon accompan ied her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rus-son, Rus-son, of Roosevelt, to Salt Lake City, Saturday to attend conference. con-ference. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy Timo-thy entertained at a dinner Sunday for their daughter. Dar-lene's Dar-lene's birthday. Those attending attend-ing "were Mrs. Wm. Ostler and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon, Gen-eil Gen-eil and Keith. The Elders' quorum is very pleased with the results of. the birthday calendar sale in the ward. STARTS YEAR'S WORK The Relief Society started their winter work with a social in the ward house, Thursday. There was a program, games were played and refreshments served. Mrs. LeRae Robison, who has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drol-linger, Drol-linger, left Tuesday, accompanied accompan-ied by her mother, to meet her husband who is in California. Mrs. Drollinger will return home by plane. Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd announce the birth of a grandson, grand-son, born Tuesday to Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Fagtioli. of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Fagtioli is to be remembered as Pauline Lloyd. |
