Show Gains Discharge Glen Eldredge. who received his honorable discharge frorn the armed forces last week on his return trip from Japan, spent a short visit with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge last week. Glen was enrolling in the BYU and he and his wife plan on living in Provo. Allen Gines, who is in school in Salt Lake City, and Ensyne Clark spent the weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines. Mr. and Mrs. pene Olsen and family, of Magna, have been recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squire. The two ladies are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sprouse and daughter, Wanda, spent last weekend at the home of their daughter in Orem. WORK DAY OCT. 12 On Tuesday, Oct. 12 work day will be held in Relief Society So-ciety and all the ladies are urged to' be there. i A very interesting meeting was held at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening. Patsy Hullin-ger Hullin-ger and Beatrice Angus graduated gradu-ated from Primary into the M.I.A. Bishop and Mrs. Golden Collins, Col-lins, Squire Mangum. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squire were among those from Ballard who went to Salt Lake City to attend the general conference of the LDS church. Mrs. Clyde Bartlett will remain re-main at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge, for an indefinite period. per-iod. Clyde left for service on Monday, Sept. 27. He was a graduate from BYU last spring where he had been a member of the R.O.T.C. The couple has been living in Tridell during dur-ing the summer months until Clyde received his call.. |
