Show Ramdleti By Mrs. Viola Jensen Elders Party The Sixth Elders Quorum held a party Wednesday evening eve-ning at the Avalon chapel. Games were played under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Fahy Durfee. Delicious refreshments were served to those present. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen visited Thursday in Roosevelt at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Marion Shelton. A pink and blue shower was given Tuesday in honor of Mrs. Carol Lewis. Games were played play-ed under the direction of Mrs. Afton Rogers. Cake and ice cream and punch were served to those present. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Wall, Jr. returned to their home in Indio, Calif., after spending a week visiting here. Ralph Taylor and Albert Harris Har-ris made a trip to Cache Valley Monday and purchased some dairy cows and 'returned home Tuesday evening. Mrs. Jessie Pickup went to Salt Lake City Monday to receive re-ceive medical attention. Supt. Harold Lundell was a visitor Monday at the Avalon School. Mrs. Mary Young attended the funeral for her father, which was held at Blackfoot, Idaho. Mrs. Young returned home Tuesday. Mrs. Carol Lewis and children, child-ren, of Vernal, were overnight visitors, Tuesday evening, at the home of her parents. |
