Show Special Church Program April 4th A special service was held Sunday at the Presbyterian church with a Gospel Team from Wasatch Academy conducting con-ducting the service. Miss Gail Glass, of Yosemite National Park, Calif., presented an interesting in-teresting talk about services conducted at the Park; Miss Sue Hartman, of Aztec, New Mexico, recited scripture and led the prayer; Vernon Dyer, of Window Rock, Arizona, and Joe Gray, of Chinle, Arizona, both told of the religious life of the Navajo Indians. The group was accompanied by two instructors, Miss Nancy Barrett and Albert L. Kuipers. While here the girls of the group were guests at the Homer Robinson home; the two boys were guests of the W. R. Harris,' and Mr. Kuiper spent the weekend week-end at the Tom Gentry home. A large congregation enjoyed the services and participated in the pot-luck lunch which was served complimentary to the visiting gospel team at the close of the services. Mr. and Mrs. Titus Jones, Miss Laura Clemons, Mrs. Emil Munz and Mrs. L. C. Winslow came from Duchesne, Sunday, to attend Church. Mrs. C. M. Richardson underwent under-went surgery at the Vernal hospital hos-pital last week. Latest report of her condition shows her getting along iTicely. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and Miss Alice Todd drove to Vernal, Ver-nal, Saturday, to visit Mrs. C. M. Richardson, who is hospitalized hospit-alized there. They were accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Norman, of Roosevelt. Mrs. W. E. Burton returned last week from a short visit at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ber-nard Biltz, in Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean are rejoicing over the arrival of an infant son, born March 31st at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. Dean brought his wife and tiny son home, Sunday, where they were greeted by a brother and sister, who eagerly awaited the home coming of their new brother. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, Friday evening were, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Massie, of Fort Duchesne, Du-chesne, and Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Church. Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Peterson left Friday on a business and pleasure trip to Los Angeles, Calif. They anticipate a two weeks' vacation. i RANCH SOLD A property transaction of interest in-terest was completed Friday when the Jennie L. Pptter ranch on North Myton Bench was purchased by Neil C. Williams, Wil-liams, of Salt Lake City. The property was occupied by the George Rawlings family prior to the sale. Mr. and Mrs. Garland Reed came from Tremonton Thursday Thurs-day to bring home their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Rex McClure and Mrs. Reed's sister, Mrs. James Hamilton, Ham-ilton, who had been visiting them. Mrs. Lena Lisonbee and her small daughter,, Marilyn, went to Salt Lake City Saturday for a weekend visit with relatives and to attend conference. C. P. Phillip Todd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, who has been home on furlough, left Wednesday night for Treasure Island, where he will be stationed sta-tioned prior to overseas shipment ship-ment to Guam. The young sailor sail-or is attached to the Sea Bees, training as a heavy equipment operator. Alvin Davis, who has been ill, left Saturday for Salt Lake City to seek medical attention. Mrs. Davis accompanied him. SCHOOL PARTY The personnel of the Myton school lunch and their partners were guests of the school faculty fac-ulty and their partners Thursday Thurs-day evening at the school library. li-brary. Colored slides of scenes at Harvard University and of Boston were enjoyed by the group of about 20 persons after which games furnished the entertainment. en-tertainment. Mrs Lydia Peatross and Mrs. Lydia Nielson left Sunday to attend the LDS conference in Salt Lake. Mrs. Peatross will visit her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Roberts', Rob-erts', in Provo before returning while Mrs. Nielson will visit in Salt Lake City for a few days. Lt. Colonel R. H. Felter arrived ar-rived Thursday for a short visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Felter, and with other relatives. rel-atives. He is stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas, and was enroute to his home after a trip to the West Coast where he attended to his official duties. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Felter, David Feltetr and Mrs. Doris Morrill returned Saturday from a visit to Ft. Bliss. They enjoyed enjoy-ed a brief visit with Lt. Col. R. H.
