Show PRESENTS PROGRAIW A very entertaining program was presented at MIA "Meet Me At Mutual" night -on Tuesday. Readers for the program were: George Marret and Ruth Walters, Theme of the program was "This' Is Your Life." The surprise guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. Boy Scouts who participated on the program were: Darwin Neilsen, Cloyd and' Farrell (Barker and Douglas Murphy. Bee Hive girls explaining their bandlos were Kar-ren Kar-ren Murphy, Sarah Meyer, Colleen Fitzgerald and Donna Ann Stans-field. Stans-field. Colleen Fitzgerald, Marjorie Liddell, -Kay Bruhdage and Billy Shephard were the dance demonstrators. demon-strators. A vocal solo was sung by Bertie Lisonbee', accompanied by Hazel Walters. Following the program the group enjoyed dancing. dan-cing. v Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell Tas-sell went to Salt Lake Monday to join other members of their family fam-ily on a trip to the' temple. They were accompanied' by Vernon Moon of Roosevelt. Three children were baptized as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday Sat-urday and confirmed Sunday, They were Hazel Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, Mar-leen Mar-leen Lamb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Lamb, Kent Van Tassell, son of Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell. Mrs. Glendon Lamb returned home' last week from Orderville and Glendale, where she has visited vis-ited the past month. Her sons, LaNar and Byrell brought her home. While there she cared for the' children of Mr. and Mrs. LaNar La-Nar Lamb while Mrs. Lamb was at the hospital with a new baby girl. This is the first girl for LaNar La-Nar and wife. Mrs. Mona Abbott, Louise Liddell Lid-dell and Curt Kofford of Salt Lake were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell'. |
