Show History triads At Health Center Twins Make Debut History was made at the New Duchesne Health Center a couple of weeks ago when Mrs. Jean Suddreth of Mtn. Home gave birth to the first baby to be born in the community hospital that was opened Jan. 16 for the first time. Merchants of Roosevelt and Duchesne Du-chesne donated prizes to the first baby, and most of them have been picked up by the parents of the new baby. According to Ray Summers, manager, the Health Center has now been licensed and carries a rating comparable to other small hospitals in the state. He also reported re-ported they are still making history his-tory a pair of twins were born a few day's ago, and when an incubator in-cubator was needed, the Highway Patrol came to their rescue, and in 32 hours the needed equipment equip-ment had been delivered from Salt Lake City. Roosevelt merchants who donated do-nated prizes to the' first baby are as follows: Grace's Dress Shop, Modern Drug, Center Service, Landscape Floral Co., Carlson Cleaners, J. C. Penney Co., Sprouse-Reitz, Drol-linger Drol-linger Furniture, Watkins Music Exchange, Hacking Hardware, L. & L. Motor, Roosevelt Standard, Shirley's Small Fry Shop, Frontier Grill Cafe and Huish Drug. |
