Primary conference will be held Sunday, April 2nd. Mrs. Elvera Telford returned home Wednesday after spending the past week visiting her daughter daugh-ter and family at Springville. Her son, Blaine Kimball who has been employed at California, returned re-turned home with her. Blaine will visit here for a few days before be-fore returning to work. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Burdick of Duchesne were visiting Mr. Burdick's mother, Mrs. L. Burdick Bur-dick Sunday. John Goodrich and C. Bristol were Duchesne business visitors Monday. The men are working to improve im-prove the appearance of the church lot. A benefit dance was held Friday Fri-day night for Mrs. Ina Cook and family. Max Burdick is home after spending the past two weeks in Salt Lake. City receiving medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich Good-rich and Fred Goodrich were Roosevelt visitors Thursday. Roosevelt shoppers on Wednesday Wed-nesday were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert A. Murray, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Seeley, Roy Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. Lila Gale. Wallace and Marion Seeley were business visitors in Myton Friday. Sunday evening the home of John Goodrich caught fire on the inside. When the door was opened the wind blew the fire out of the stove pipe onto the paper and flames began to spread rapidly. Luckily both Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich were home and they quickly smothered smother-ed the flames before a great deal of damage was done. N |
