Show ALTON AH eX2XSXSX2XSXSX5X2g Mr. and Mrs. Grant Foote of Salt Lake City spent a few days visiting friends and their daughter, daugh-ter, Doris, who is attending the Altamont High school. While here they attended the ward reunion. re-union. Gerald Jacobson went to Salt Lake Monday, March 20 and had an optical operation. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith, Mrs. Esther Allred and Wells Smith was in Roosevelt Tuesday on business. The ward reunion was held March 22. Primary officers and teachers, with the help of Mrs. Elsia Chidester and Mrs. Thora Timothy, served the children hot lunch, ice cream and cookies. In the afternoon there, was a children's chil-dren's dance, Arthur Timothy played for it. During the evening a delicious supper was served by the Relief society ladies and a dance followed with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thacker playing. Frank Holman, came after his wife Sunday and they returned to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and baby are visiting Mrs. Oman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jacobson. Jac-obson. Jennis leaves on the 28th for the service and his wife and baby will remain here until his return. Lester Maxfield took his wife to Vernal Tuesday for medical care. Her mother, Mrs. James B. Murray, and Alton Carroll accompanied ac-companied them. Mrs. Oscar Becbe went to Salt Lake City with her brother, Pvt. Howard and Mrs. Lucas, Tuesday. Tues-day. Howard spent most of his furlough visiting his mother, Mrs. Ellen Madsen and sister in law at Altonah. George Fisher, Sr., vas operated oper-ated on in Lehi Tuesday. La-Forge La-Forge Dastrup of Altonah took him out. Jack Fisher took Mrs. Mable Fisher, Mrs. Lenora Darlf, Mrs. Grace Agnew, to Roosevelt Thursday on business. Alton Carroll, went to Brown Duck Lake, Friday to make a snow test. Charlie Bird accompanied accom-panied him from Moon Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman, returned re-turned to Salt Lake Saturday. She will remain in Salt Lake with him until he goes into the service Tuesday. |
