Mrs. Huntsman will remain here with her parents. Seminary Program A program was given in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting Sunday by the Roosevelt Seminary students. Miss Maxine Parrish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Parrish is visiting her parents. Maxine has joined the WAVES and will remain here until she receives her call. A crowd of young ioiks and adults met at the Preece home Saturday evening in honor of Miss Edith Nell Preece and Seaman Sea-man Bill Preece. A lunch was served after which the young people spent the remainder of the evening at the Oasis. Mrs. Florence Johanson of Provo and Mrs. James Birch of Duchesne were week end guests of their sister and brother in law Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Talboe. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk and family entertained at a dinner party Wednesday evening in honor of Bill Preece, S. 2-c and Edith Nell Preece. New Arrival , Lt. and Mrs. Craig Jones are the proud parents of a girl born March 17 at Provo. Mrs. Jones was formerly Joe Peatross, daughter of Mrs. Lydia Peatross. The Legion held their 25th anniversary an-niversary Wednesday evening in the Beggs building. Supervisor of Man Power H. C. McShean of Salt Lake City was a special guests. Francis Nebeker and Emma Lou Haynes Wardle of Provo were visiting Mrs. Ray1 Fahren-bruch Fahren-bruch Tuesday of last week. Ace Talboe went to Salt Lake Thursday to see an eye specialist. special-ist. George Cooper went to Salt Lake City Thursday where he has employment. Reatha Neilson and Deon Kimball Kim-ball of Gusher were week end guests of Thressa Neilson. Miss Edith Nell Preece returned re-turned to Salt Lake Sunday where she has employment. Otto Nielson of Ouray was a visitor Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Solemnson. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kronquist of Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne Sunday in honor of Mrs. Kronquist'a birthday anniversary. anni-versary.
