Show Roosevelt Stake Bee-Hivers Meet At Swarm Day Roosevelt Stake Swarm Day was held Saturday, May 14, at the Roosevelt stake house, under the direction of Mrs. Parley Raw-lings, Raw-lings, Stake Eee-Keeper, with the largest crowd in attendance ever known to gather for a stake swarm. Each of the twelve wards comprising com-prising the Roosevelt stake participated par-ticipated in presenting a delightful delight-ful program of short skits and dances, after which the year's achievement awards were presented pre-sented by Mrs. Rawlings. Each Stake Bee-Keeper was presented with a corsage, by Mrs. Rawlings, as an expression of her appreciation for their cooperation co-operation throughout the year. Mrs. Clifton Laris and Mrs. Orson Or-son Stevens each received corsages cor-sages as they were installed as assistant Stoke Bee-Keepers. Mrs. Helen Larson, Stake Mutual Mu-tual president, presented Mrs. Rawlings with a potted plant as a token of appreciation for her work. Opening prayer was offered by Carol Schaefermeyer; closing prayer, by Janet Stevens. Refreshments were served. |
