Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dilgleiih The Utah Highway Patrol presented pre-sented a safety program film at the Myton LDS ward chapel, Friday evening. The program was sponsored by the American Legion, VVm. R. Sands Tost 5, to bring to the attention of the public pub-lic the need for safety measures. The Legion and Auxiliary held their regular meetings in the chapel at the close of the program. pro-gram. Plans were perfected for presentation of scholastic poppy poster awards and prizes to students stu-dents of the elementary school and a program arranged for the Memorial Day services to be held Mondav. May 30. at 11 o'clock at the LDS ward chapel. The Bee Hive girls attended Swarm Day at the Roosevelt Stake House, Saturday at 2 p. m. Sixteen girls were promoted, while six were graduated, as follows: fol-lows: Alma Hamilton, Alva Tanner. Tan-ner. Mildred Tanner. Margie Molt, Joan Crapo and LaRae Morrill. The color dance was presented by Faye Frandsen, Gcnene Harris, Alma Hamilton, LaRac Morrill, Evelyn Dodge. Mildred Tanner, Joan Crapo and Darlene Smith, with Wilda Fae Robinson as piano accompanist. Mrs. Ross Harmon, the teacher of the group, accompanied them to Roosevelt. Mrs. J. F. Wilson, who underwent under-went an operation at the Dee hospital in Ogdcn, last Wednesday Wednes-day is. getting along nicely according ac-cording to latest reports. Mr. Wilson Wil-son returned home Friday eve ning. Mrs. Del Combs, of Duchesne, and Mrs. E. D. Barton, of Los Angeles, visited with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Biltz and two small daughters came from Mldvale to spend the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burton. Bur-ton. Mrs. Biltz is Mrs. Burton's daughter. The second game of the season in the Uintah Basin Baseball League, was played at Bennett Saturday afternoon when the Myton and Bennett teams fought a hard battle with the score at the end of 11 innings bringing a 7 to 6 victory to Myton. A large crowd of baseball fans accompanied accom-panied the team. Mrs. A. J. Feller, of Duchesne. and her son, Arthur Bigley. of Butte, Montana, and Mrs. Ivy Murdock, of Roosevelt, visited here Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris are enjoying a visit from Mr. Harris' Har-ris' brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. John Harris, who arrived ar-rived Saturday from California enroute to their home at Montrose, Mont-rose, Colorado. They will spend several days here before going on to Colorado.
