Show Funerals BENJAMIN WILSON Funeral services for Benjamin Benja-min Wilson, 82, who died May 13 at his home in Roosevelt, of causes incident to age, were conducted con-ducted Tuesday, May 17, at 2 p. m. in the Roosevelt LDS ward chapel, under the direction of Bishop Hollls G. Hullinger. Speakers were B. O. Colton, Ray E. Dillmari and Hollis Hullinger. Hul-linger. Music included a vocal selection by Frank Walker, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Paulson; a mixed quartet number by Ben-nie Ben-nie Schmiett, Merlin Reynolds, Esther Wogec and Barbara Moysh, accompanied by Lela Labrum. Prayer at the home was by Reed Hancock; the invocation by Dr. John Bourne; benediction, J. Harold Eldredge, and dedication of the grave, J. Austin Pack. Prelude and postlude organ music was furnished by Lela Labrum. A son of Isaac and Elizabeth McGregor Wilson, he was born June 14. 1876 at Salt Lake City. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Eliza-beth Nield, December 21, 1893 in the Logfen LDS temple. They settled in Roosevelt in 1909. An active member of the LDS church, Mr. Wilson was a high priest at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, 3 sons, Irl B. Wilson, Scofield; Vernon Wilson, Price: Wallace Wilson. Roosevelt; 4 daughters, Mrs. Hazel McLaughlin, Berkeley, Berk-eley, Calif.; Mrs. LaVon Timothy, Layton; Mrs. Myrtle Bryce. Gua-tay, Gua-tay, California, and Mrs. Nila B. Cunningham, Roosevelt; 26 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Roosevelt city cemetery. |
