Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish , Mrs. Wm.v Jones was honored guest at a party Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon at the Presbyterian church, with Mrs. I. R. Tultle and Mrs. Lydia Peatxoss acting as hostesses: About fifteen guests were present to enjoy a social afternoon and a delicious lunch. Mrs. Jones has been residing here during 'the summer and her old friends regret her departure to Arizona, where she will make her permanent home. Mrs. LaVon Dennis and daughters, Sherry and Carolyn, returned to Myton last week after af-ter spending the summer with Mr. Dennis at Fish Lake. Mrs. Morris Peterson and children, of Provo, are visiting with Mrs. Dennis. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bingham and children arrived from Provo Saturday to. visit with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ashel Bing- , ham and Mr. and Mrs. Ole Pet- ! erson. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Potter have had as guests Mr. and Mrs. Glen Repp and son, Glen Jr., of Polk Ohio, and Mrs. Jessie Repp and daughter, Dorothy, of West Salem, Sa-lem, Ohio. They left Sunday for the East. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tolboe enjoyed a visit Thursday from Mr. and Mrs. James McCabc, of Dovecreek, Colorado; Mrs. Ann Chamberlain, of Moab; Mrs. Emma Em-ma Birch and Mrs. Florence Johnson, of Duchesne. Mrs. Mc-Cabe, Mc-Cabe, Mrs. Birch and Mrs. Johnson John-son are sisters of Mrs. Tolboe; Mrs. Chamberlain is her niece. Mrs. Warren Odekirk and children, of Salt Lake City, have been guests at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Zirker, Sr. Members of the Martin family enjoyed a reunion in Myton over the Labor Day weekend. Mr. and Mrs.- Paul Walling and small son arrived Thursday from Oroville, California, while Mr, and Mrs. Jack Jennings, of Globe, Arizona, and Mr. and Mrs. John Martin and son, Fred Dee", and tiny daughter, Martha Sue, of Bingham, , arrived Saturday. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin and Mrs. I. R. Tuttle while here and enjoyed visiting with their many friends in Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Orrison Flatbcrg. of Provo, visited with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Saturday enroutc to Uinta Canyon on a fishing trip. Mrs. Flatberg was formerly Miss Catherine Dalgleish Dal-gleish and is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. Dalgleish. Mr. and Mrs. George D. Hill, of Roy, Utah, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge. Mr. and Mrs. William Jones ileft Thursday to establish their j permanent home in Frcdonia, I Arizona, after spending the sum-'mer sum-'mer here. They have sold their i lhome to Mr. and Mrs. Milton) 'Lott who took possession on I Monday. Miss Alice Todd was hostess to members and guests of the I Friday Bridge Club last week. The Myton baseball team and their loyal crowd of fans returned, return-ed, Sunday from Levan where the team competed in the State baseball tournament. Although "our boys" didn't have much luck in the tournament they concede con-cede they have learned some new ideas and will be better equipped if they have the opportunity op-portunity to play in the tournament tourna-ment next year. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bywater spent the weekend in Myton visiting vis-iting with relatives. - Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner and family and Mrs. ucorge Tanner attended the funeral of Gerald N. Rcid at Tabiona, Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. Elaudwyn Potthoff returned re-turned Saturday from Salt Lake City where she has been confined con-fined to a Salt Lake hospital for a week. She is greatly improved and will convalesce at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson. Mrs. James Delgleish spent j Wednesday in Duchesne attend-1 ing to business matters and visiting visit-ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. The Tolboe Market opened its doors to customers last week! with a new, up-to-the-minute, well-equipped building. Their locker plant is one of the best in the state and the citizens of (Myton and vicinity are prepared to take advantage of this luxury which has not been available here before. Myton was well represented in in the Indian Day parade, an especially es-pecially nice float was prepared by the Mutual and Primary depicting de-picting the Bridge, reminiscent of Bridge Day, Sept, 13-14-15, 1910. Frances Funk was rodeo, queen, attended : by Betty Lisonbee and Prima Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith of Salt Lake City, arrived Sat' ' urday to spend the Labcr Day weekend at the home of Mr I Smith's mother Mrs. Ray Thompson. ' Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Adams, of " Roosevelt, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Sunday evening. ' Mr. and Mrs. George Funk and daughter, Frances, spent ' Sunday in Provo enroutc to Mt. Pleasant, where Frances again enrolled at Wasatch Academy. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Harris ' took their daughter, Margaret Mary, to Mt.
