Show Altamont High Will Begin School Year, September 11 Principal Loutenppck, of the AUamont High school has made the announcement that registration registra-tion for the current year will take place Thursday, September 11 at the high school. Mr. Lou-tensock Lou-tensock urged all Altamont students stu-dents to register on the specified date in order to gain admission to the classes they desire. Altamont's student body fees for the current year will be $5 for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades, with $4 set for 7th and 8th graders. These fees will admit ad-mit sudent body card holders to student functions and all Lyceum Ly-ceum circuit programs. Several changes and alterations altera-tions haye . been made at Altamont Alta-mont this summer, Mr. Louten-sock Louten-sock disclosed. A new room for the elementary grades, a heating plant for the shop and a thorough thor-ough cleaning of the building's interior make up the major part of the renovation. Several new teachers have been added to the staff. They are: Boyd Murray, Harold Phillips, Phil-lips, Edith Hansen, Anna Hart-man Hart-man and Leola Loutensock. Members of last years faculty who will teach again at Altamont Alta-mont are: Vola Hancock, Evelyn Pace and William Evans. Football will be included in the athletic program this year with Harold Phillips directing the gridiron sport. |
