Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beebe Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mecham and family, of Upalco. spent Sunday at the home of Mr. Me-cham's Me-cham's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Farnsworth. Albert Young returned from St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City, where he had an eye removed. re-moved. He was injured recently when his gun backfired and a piece of shell pierced his eye. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hart-man, Hart-man, of Mt. Emmons, and Mr. and Mrs. .Alec Pace, of Boneta, called at the Young home, Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Wm. Anderson spent last week visiting relatives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Gilbert Beebe and daughter, daugh-ter, Barbara, spent a few days last week in Ogden with their daughter and sister, Pauline. Mx. and Mrs. Leo Johanson, of Hagerman, Idaho, visited their daughter, Mrs. Dallas Ames, and attended the funeral services for their brother-in-law Bill Young, n August 25. George Berrett, Sr. and son, Robert, spent a few days this week in Salt Lake City visiting Mrs. John A. Berrett. Mrs. Berrett Ber-rett returned with them for a few days visit. Mrs. Mary Bowden left Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake City to visit her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Violet Bowden, of Myton, who is 'seriously 'ser-iously ill in a hospital there. Her daughter, Mrs. Thressa Anderson, Ander-son, of Ioka, is also in Salt Lake receiving medical care. Her grandchildren returned with her to stay until their mother is able to come home. Mrs. Arthur Wayman, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Wayman and son and Dan Wayman, of Salt Lake City, spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jacobson. Peggy Ralphs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dcnnie Ralphs, spent four days in the Roosevelt hospital last week where she wa treated for blood poisoning in her foot. The Bee Hive girls held swarm day, Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Nada Murray. The time was spent in working on their cells and making candy. Those present were Patti Ralphs, !Lula Bell Farnsworth, Donna Maxfield and Barbara Beebe. Boyd Murray spent a few days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Murray. His mother returned home with him Thursday. Mr. Murray is moving his family into one of the Das-trup Das-trup apartments at Altamont and will teach school at the high school this coming year. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Shiner and family, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Ida Conklin and her father, John Leslie, of Ferrin, attended at-tended the funeral services for William Young Monday. Mrs. Conklin's husband was killed on the R.E.A. line about 3 years ago. ' : |
