Show National Forest Timber For Sale Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Ashley Ash-ley National Forest, Vernal, Utah, up to and including October Octo-ber 4, 1948, for all merchantable dead timber standing and down and all live timber marked or designated for cutting on an area of approximately 51 acres within Sections 22 and 27, T. 3 N , R. 2 W U.S.M., Big Ben Chance of the Farm Creek Compartment Whiterocks Working Circle, Ashley Ash-ley National Forest, Utah, estimated esti-mated to be 45,000 feet, board measure, more or less, or lodge-pole lodge-pole pine sawtimber and 50,000 linear feet, more or less, of lodgepole pine timber suitable for mine props. No bid of less than $3.15 per M feet, board measure, for sawtimber and $5.15 per M linear feet for mine prop timber will be considered. In addition ad-dition to making payments for stumpage, purchaser will be required re-quired to make an additional deposit de-posit of $0.10 per M feet, board measure, and per M linear feet for the total cut of sawtimber and mine prop timber respectively respec-tively to be deposited into a cooperative co-operative work fund to pay for uie cost , or siasn disposal work. I At the time of submitting bids, $100.00 payable to the Treasurer I of the United States must accompany accom-pany each bid, to be applied on the purchase price, refunded, or retained in part as liquidated damages according to conditions of sale. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
