Show Farmers' Union Organizes Locals Three local organizations have been established recently in the Uintah Basin area, under the sponsorship of the Farmers' Union, Un-ion, with three more in the process pro-cess of formation in the western end of the county. The Neola, Lapoint and Ballard Bal-lard locals have met and elected officers and action committees as follows; Neola Local W. K. Dye, president: Joseph Mal-nan, Mal-nan, Vice president; Douglas Brown, secretary-treasurer. La-point La-point Local Loyal Cox, president; presi-dent; Loris Woolley, vice president; presi-dent; Chas. K. Hartle, secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. Ballard Locl Rulon Anderton. president; Jesse IIul-linger, IIul-linger, vice president; Charles G. Bolton, secretary-treasurer. Joseph Malnar and Darrell Goodrich have accepted appointments appoint-ments as insurance agents for the territory. Farmers' Union has helped help-ed finance and establish the Farmers' Exchange Co-operative at Duchesne, formerly the Duchesne Du-chesne Flour Mill. |
