I , .. .... 1 . ,- ,-,, i,f-,-.-,i..Wr-r, The Roosevelt '.-;cpital opened i its doors lo the public August 14, after two years of organized effort ef-fort on the pari ot the hospital committee, civic organizations and citizens of the community, with Mrs. Martha Shanks, former form-er county nurse, assuming position posi-tion of head nurse. Communitee in charge of the institution includes Ray E. Dill-man, Dill-man, president of the Roosevelt L D S stake; Russel Todd, Lee Angus, William H. Ruppel, Jr.. and W. H. Morrison. Dr. D. P. Whitmore and Dr Lu.rrine Miles also will be directors. The Roosevelt Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce has been active ac-tive in landscaping and beautifying beauti-fying the grounds. Approximately Approximat-ely 85 truckloads of soil and fertilizer have buen hauled to the site and a seed bed prepared for lawn. Necessary materials and labor have been obtained for installing a complete sprinkling sprink-ling system. The club will contact con-tact every family in Roosevelt regarding the purchase of a family fam-ily policy in the hospital insurance insur-ance plan. r Jaycees Complete Hospital Project SdwnfiBiiiliinil This group of Rooseveli Jaycees and civic boosters is shown as ihey finish volunteer work improving grounds at the new Roosevelt hospital, which opened recently. |
