Show Utah Women in Mission schedule annual retreat The Utah United Church of Christ Women in Mission will hold their annual retreat at the Peruvian Lodge at Alta on April 15-17. The theme is "Encountering God Women in the Spirit." Rev. Shawn Van Dyke of the United Church of Christ at Orem and Jean McCreery , director for the Lutheran Luther-an Campus Ministries at the University Uni-versity of Utah, are the keynoters and resources women. There will be four workshops offered. Patricia Gamble Hovey, a counselor in oncology at the Primary Prim-ary Children's Hospital, will present pre-sent "Called to Become the Corporate Corpo-rate Person." Kathy Hurt, who is much involved in-volved in the International Bible Study and just recently returned from Israel, will give the workshop, work-shop, "Encountering God through Women of The Bible." "Creative Expression through Folk Art" will be done jointly by Cindy Schofield and Dorothy Tol-bert. Tol-bert. Cindy is actively involved in Christian Education at Orem Community Com-munity Church and, with her husband, hus-band, operates Heinselman's Knitting Knit-ting and Craft Store in Provo. Dorothy has a degree in library science and specializes in working with children at a Salt Lake library. Her needlework skills are seen in the stoles she has created with Christian symbols. Assisting with the music program prog-ram is Rev. Galen Russell, associate associ-ate pastor at Holladay United Church of Christ. His ministry to all ages includes the creative use of music, composing and arranging much of his material. Becky McKenzie of Bountiful, an elementary school teacher, will provide an aerobics class Saturday morning.
