The action was taken at the March 17 meeting of the Layton City Council. The revised resolution lists four principal customer classes served by Layton City. Residential customers, one or two family dwellings, usually physically phy-sically separate, pay $6 per month for the first 7,000 gallons monthly and $.52 per 1,000 additional gallons. gal-lons. Residents of mobile home parks pay $6 per month for the first 7,000 gallons and $.82 for each additional 1,000 gallons. Commercial customers including includ-ing multi-family apartment buildings, build-ings, condominiums and non residential, non-industrial businesses busines-ses pay the same rate as residential customers. Multiple commercial units pay $6 for the first unit and $5.25 per month for each additional unit plus charge for water in excess of the minimum 7,000 gallons for the first unit and 4,000 gallons for the additional addi-tional units at a rate of $.52 per 1,000 gallons. Churches, private schools, industrial in-dustrial and parks, public schools and public buildings pay the same rate as a single commercial unit or a residential customer. Public authority customers like the golf course pay a monthly usage us-age rate of $.80 per 1,000 gallons used. Out of city connections are double dou-ble the city rates. |
