Show Retirees hold t meeting The South Davis Chapter of American Association of Retired Persons met Oct. 21 in the Golden Years Center with Aurelia Olsen president, greeting members and guests. The Widowed Persons Services Conference was announced, to be held Oct. 27-29 at the Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake City. A FEDERAL Procurement Conference Con-ference will be held Nov. 1 at the Western Hotel in Salt Lake City. For further information on these conferences, get in touch with Mrs. Olsen or an officer of the local chapter of AARP. James V. Hansen Han-sen will be a speaker at the conference confer-ence on Nov. 1. Howard Stringham reported on the recent conference he and Mrs. Stringham had attended in Washington, D.C. MR. STRINGHAM took charge of the program, showing a film on "The What and Why of Crime Prevention" Pre-vention" and a discussion followed the film. The next regular meeting of the South Davis Chapter of AARP will be held Nov. 18 at 12:30 p.m. in the Golden. Years Center.
