indian graduate of cornell visits visit here wednesday P lavaster La Vatter of the U S d department of the interior office of indian affairs passed through richfield wednesday and visit visited at the horne home of mr and mrs airs jas M peterson mr air La Vatter an indian himself is a graduate of cornell university and has won wide recognition through his work for indians he came to richfield en route to salt lake city from the southern utah parks where he has been endeavoring to place some of his people in the employ of the parks he brought with him some beautiful samples of gloves and other beaded art work done by the indians mr air Vatter lavaster La has been acquainted quain ted for some time with the thel peterson family who speak very highly of him
