| Show JUNCTION I 1 I 1 by special correspondent I 1 0 0 stake relief society plant trees being requested by the general board of relief societies to plant at least one tree in every ward and stake the garfield stake relief societies have responded very well every ward having planted one or more norway maple trees last wednesday the stake board of the relief society consisting of ida H steed esther B mathews ruby osborne josie 13 bay and iva christensen held a meeting at antimony and while there made a visit to the relief society tree which they planted on ithe the lot of mrs irene rowan former ler relief society president who I 1 is now in texas presiding over the mission relief societies there an appropriate poem written by ida H steed and signed by all board members was sent to mrs airs rowan ella K ipson and kermit anderson who attended school at the brigham young university 4 have returned home both report a very successful school year mr air and mrs airs barlow luke have gone to provo where mrs luke will receive medical treatment they will also spend some time in salt lake city before returning home the C P W club met at the home of mrs airs elsie price thursday afternoon the assisting hostess was mrs dora price A very pleasing shower was given saturday evening at the homb of mr illy and mrs airs george greenhalgh in honor of their daughter mary who was married to malcolm messer of cedar city the young couple left sunday for cedar city where they will make their home mr air and mrs airs reed AT beebe who are spending the summer on their farm at johns valley are visiting at the home of mr air and mrs gilbert R beebe bishop george anderson and children mr and mrs airs rex anderson mr air and mrs airs burt jackman and victor anderson left sunday morning for the anderson pinney dawm sawmill ill located in provo canyon they will vill be employed there most of the summer mr air and mrs airs J H empy were dinner guests at the home of mr and mrs airs H earl bay sunday mr and mrs marlo zabriskie Zabris kic who are employed at the pinney sawmill at widtsoe soe spent the weekend visiting mr Zabris kics kies parents mr air and mrs john H zabriskie mr air and mrs airs IV J luke were visiting at the home of mr air lukes parents mr air and mrs W H luke sunday frank chalk who since the death of his wife has spent some time visiting in idaho has returned e d home mr air chalk feels that southern utah is a good place to be the jhc piute diute county school bus d driven riven by carl beebe will leave thursday morning june 11 with a load of M 1 I A workers who will attend the al I 1 L A conference at salt lake city they will return monday june 15 miss aliss claudie barnson has returned from salt lake city where she underwent a tonsil operation and later spent a month visiting relatives in the city |
