local talent entertains at camp williams an entertainment was presented by local talent friday evening at camp W G williams jordan narrows where battery E honor battery of the field artillery is is encamped with other batteries of the regiment the program was atti attended prided by a number of dignitaries nit aries among them senator reed smoot congressman don B colton and congressman frederick C loofbourow who addressed the gathering as well as officers from fort douglas the entertainment was attended by every man in the camp in addition to sonic some civilians Rich fields part of the program consisted of readings by miss nial nelson vocal solos by miss bliss ruby thurber vocal duets by misses ruby thurber and marian bean dances by miss bliss hope hansen and georgia hansen and violin selections by cyril sorensen miss bliss lenna thurbar acted as accompanist mrs L W sidwell and children bobby and liene of salt lake city are visiting at the home of mrs Si dwells parents judge and mrs N J bates they expect to stay sta a couple of weeks
