ALMA EAKLE Celebrate 50th The children of Alma Dorus and Mary Alice Rodgers Eakle are pleased to announce the golden wedding anniversary of their parents. Alma and Mary Alice were married July 14, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. Their married life has been spent in Woods Cross where Alma has been a dairy farmer. JL'LY 9 a family dinner and program at the Red Flame in Bountiful was given in their honor by their children: Mr. and Mrs. Alma D. Eakle, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Mary Alice) Crouch, Mr. and Mrs. Max B. (Norma) Richardson, Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Betty) Beachler. They have been active in the LDS Church. Alma has served as bishop, in the stake presidency pres-idency and as patriarch. He has also been active in scouting, scout-ing, and in civic and agricultu-, ral appointments. MARY ALICE has been kept busy using her musical ability. She has been Relief Society president in her ward and has held many other ward and stake positions. They have enjoyed being able to serve others. Music has played an important impor-tant part in their lives adding to their happiness. THEY HAVE 13 grandchildren grandchil-dren and two greatgrandchildren. |
