Show 1 AllU 1EW . Miss Georgia Christensen was a Salt Lake visitor last week. Mies Fern Christe-nson is spending the week at Manti. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peacock were Ogden visitors this week. Mrs. George Olsen came home from Crown Point last week. Miss Verona Cox, who spent the last month at Coalville, returned home Saturday. Andrew Hartley and -Mrs. Leroy Rigby were Salt Lake visitors last week. J. C. CTiristianson of the school faculty went to Christianburg last week to shear sheep. Miss Tressa Lindquist entertained a number of friends at dinner Thursday Thurs-day evening, April 2i. Mrs. H. F. Miner returned to her home at Provo Wednesday. She spent the past two weeks as guest of her sister, Mrs. Lewis Peterson. Miss Dot Christenson, who has been teaching school the pasf winter at Way, Ida., returned home this week. Mrs. Hyrum Hansen and children left Thursday for Tremonton, where they go to make their home. Mr. Hansen Han-sen has been there for some time. Will Pritchett, son of C. L. Prit-chett, Prit-chett, who has spent the past winter in Washington, D. C, work'ing for the government, returned home last week. Mrs. Albert Stewart returned home Sunday from Monroe, where she spent last week visiting her sister, Mrs. W. H. Morrison, who has recently re-cently been operated upon. A dancing party will be given in (he pavilion Saturday evening in honor hon-or of Miss lone Sanders, who leaves May 6 for a mission to the Northern States. Mrs. E. H. Anderson entertained the Social club and their partners Wednesday evening at a progressive rook party. A dainty luncheon was served. A party was given at the home of Mrs. Orsen Miner in honor of her sister, Mrs. Hyrum Hansen. The evening was spent in games, music and social chat. A delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to about forty guests. Sidney Sanderson has quit the employ em-ploy of Swen O. Nielson, and will work in the future for the Grand Union Tea .company. Ke will take the business of A. L. Carlston, who expects to leave for a mission soon. Last Friday evening, the eighth grade entertained the seventh and ninth grades in the school gymnasium. gymna-sium. An indoor track meet, dancing danc-ing and refreshments made a very pleasant evening for nearjy 100 pupils pu-pils and their teacher. A slumber party was given by Miss Arda'th Larsen for the girls of the ninth grade Tuesday evening. After breakfast the next morning, they all went for a hike on the west hills. They played games, ate their lunch and returned home in the afternoon. The Ladies' Literary club met at the home of Mrs. Charles Peacock April 2G. A war story was read bj .Miss Kent. Dainty refresh menus were served to ten members During Hie social hour they were entertained en-tertained by music from the Edison A song service was given at tin Ward mooting April 28.
