Show STOCK CONDITIONS GOOD. The following report of the conditions con-ditions of Bheep, ca tie and other stock in Utah, which is absolutely authentic, will be read with interest by all who are concerned: Improvement of conditions among cattle and other stock in Utah has resulted in a decision on the part of the government to extend greater leniency as to the state as regards interstate restrictions," says Dr. F E. Murray, chief of the local Federal bureau of animal industry, who returned re-turned recently from Kansas City, where a convention of all bureau of animal inspectors of the west and middle west, which was attended by officials of the department of agriculture, ag-riculture, took place., "Scabies have been practically eliminated el-iminated in the state and it may be said that sheep were never in better condition on the ranges in Utah," continued Mr. Murray. "This shows that great progress has been made in the state in the eradication of scabies sca-bies and other pests and is the main reason for the policy of leniency. It reflects excellent credit on the condition con-dition of sheep, cattle and other stock in the state." |
