Show OFF FOR ALASKA Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Johns and son Neddy left yesterday for Sitka, Alaska, Alas-ka, where they go to remain a number num-ber of years, Mr. Johns having ac-ceptd ac-ceptd the principalship of a large school that is conducted there by the Board of Home Missions of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church The school is under un-der the same management as Wasatch Wa-satch Academy but it is a larger and more important institution and Mr. Johns feels that he is materially bettering bet-tering himself by making the change. The family spent a couple cf days in Manti this week with Mrs. Johns's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hornung. it is needless to sav that Mr. and Mrs. Johns have the best wishes of a large number of friends in their undertaking un-dertaking in the far north. They have endeared themselves to all people peo-ple with whom they have associated in this city and all have the kindliest kindli-est feelings for them. They will be greatly missed by their hosts oi friends throughout Sanpete county |
