Show CUPID'S DARTS ACTIVE Cupid is working overtime in Ml. Pleasant these sunny June days, as is his annual custom, and his victims vic-tims arc falling by the wayside almost al-most daily. This week has been an unusual number succumb to the nectar-tipped shafts hurled by his majesty, and wedding bells are ringing ring-ing merrily all the day every day in consequence. The first couple of the week to succumb to the wiles of the little chap were Leo Dreage of this city and Miss Blanche Jenkins of Nephi, Ne-phi, who were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jenkins, on Tuesday. The young couple completely surprised not only their many friends, but their relatives as well. They came to Mt. Pleasant the same day they were married. They expect to make this city their home. Wm. Hansen and Miss Sybil Pearson was the next couple to fall into the snare of the wily god. They went to Salt Lake on Friday as unconcerned un-concerned as you please and on Wednesday were married in the L. D. 8. Temple there. They are enjoying a delightful honeymoon in the capital cap-ital city and are expected home in a few days. Carl Reynolds and Miss Sarah All-red, All-red, (he former a well known young man of this city, the latter one of Spring City's fair daughters, were married in the Manti Temple on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. They have been residents of the reservation for the past winter, where the lady has been teaching school. They will reside there hereafter. here-after. These young folks are all well known and very highly regarded in this city and elsewhere they are known. That they will receive the heartiest congratulations and best wishes of hosts of friends as soon as the occasion presents itself is certain.. cer-tain.. The Pyramid joins in these felicitations with hearty good will. |
