Show np bw W. C. A. Smoot, Jr., of Provo has been a visitor here this week. Neil Trobridge of Indianapolis, Ind., is in Mt. Pleasant for several weeks, a guest at the home of F. C. Jensen. ; Miss Christie Nielsen and Max See-ly See-ly came down from Salt Lake early in the week and are visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. A. N. Wright and Miss Marie Christensen returned to their homes in Salt Lake Wednesday after spending spend-ing several days here guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Lund. The former is Mr. Lund's sister. People in Mt. Pleasant were well pleased with the entertainment given in this city last evening by the Nashville Nash-ville Students, a troupe of tabloid Minstrels, whose wit and music received re-ceived much applause at the Elite Theatre during their performance. Mrs. Ina Bowman, who has been in charge of the Wasatch Dormitory during the past year, departed Monday Mon-day for Wichita, Kansas. She will also go to Chicago, Fort Wayne, Indiana. In-diana. Mrs. Bowman will be associated assoc-iated with one of the mission schools at Harlan, Kentucky, next year. Miss Ella Nielson, formerly of this city, gave a very successful recital in Salt Lake last Thursday, ten of her piano students appearing. It was under direction of the Utah Conservatory Conserva-tory of Music with whom Miss Nielson Niel-son is associated. It was well at-i at-i ended and received deserved praise form critics. |
