Keith Anderson and two children and Miss Fanny Merle Anderson, all of San Franciso left Wednseday after a ten day visit at the home of their mother and grandmother Mrs. Thomas West. Mr. and Mrs. Carral Farley attended the evening perform, ance of the "High Button Shoes" starring Eddie Foy, Jr. in Salt Lake Saturday evening. Miss Deanna Ursenbach is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Richard Noms, and her familv in Garfield this week. Mrs. Olivia M. Wall has continued con-tinued to enjoy visits from her children. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wall and their small daughter, Linda Sue, of Clare-mont, Clare-mont, California, were here. Mrs. Wall and her son and his family spent the weekend in : Salt Lake City with Mrs. Wall's daughter, Mrs. BUI Perry, and her husband. Bollingers Feted Friends of Rev. and Mrs. Er-win Er-win E. Bollinger were the object ob-ject of several entertainments before their departure Monday. Friday noon Mr. and Mrs. Bollinger Bol-linger and son Erwin were I luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. I Ralph Gunn. Mrs. Grace Gunn ; was also a guest. That eve-; eve-; ning Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hughes Hugh-es entertained the Bollingers and Mr. and Mrs. William Burton Bur-ton at a chicken dinner served at the "Snappy Lunch" in Spring City. Monday noon the Bollingers were the luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielsen. Sunday the Bollingers were guests of Mayor and Mrs. Soren M. Nielsen at the Nielsen's summer sum-mer cabin in Rolfson canyon. Others in the party were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielsen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielsen and family. Rev. and Mrs. Gregory Reid of Hazelton, Idaho, were the dinner din-ner guests Sunday noon of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gunn. Mrs. Esther Irwin returned Thursday from a visit of about a week with friends in Green River. Mr and Mrs. W. S. Atkinson and baby daughter, Ginny, of Salt Lake city, spent Saturday and Sunday with the John Sours family. Miss Marilyn Paul-Grow has returned from Green River, where she has been working for a two weeks' visit with Miss Leila Paul and Miss Charlotte Grow before going to Pella, la., for her second year in college. The Girl Scouts presented a program for their mothers at Craighead Auditorium on Friday Fri-day evening. Patrol I gave a play entitled "Awful Heavy . Mary Jensen and Nancy Staker wrote the play, based on an idea used in a story by Doro hy Thompson. Parts in the play were taken by Elaine Reynolds, Mary Jensen, Charlotte Nelson, Mary Lula Beck, Marilyn Seely, Donna Fogelberg, Lois Phi Hps Nelda Bushman, Jeanine Allred and Joyce Draper. Paula Brandon Bran-don read the prologue Follow-ing Follow-ing the play, refreshments wire served in the faculty room and a program was given by members of Patrol 2. Class Reunion Thirty years ago Miss Charlotte Char-lotte Grow graduated from the Presbyterian Training School in Chicago. This week three other members of that class of nine came to her home for a reunion: re-union: Mrs. H. C. Chapin, Granite Gran-ite City, 111.; Miss Vera Yarnell and Mrs. William Thorne, Chicago. Chi-cago. The Rev. H. C. Chapin accompanied ac-companied his wife. Several special events have been planned for their week's slay On Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. D. Allen Thomas spent the evening with the group, Mr. Thomas showing; kodachrome slides of Wasatch Academy. A special dinner was served to the group Wednesday noon in the home of Miss Grow and Miss Leila Paul. . On Monday evening Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph L. Lund brought a smorgasbord smorg-asbord over to the D. Allen Thomas home in celebration of Mr. Thomas's birthday. Miss Grace Mae Sample was a guest. , Mr. and Mrs. Murray W. Lund of Salt Lake city visited Mr. Lund's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Lund, recently. Then they drove to California as tht first part of a trip up ths coast through Oregon and Washington Washing-ton into Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Lund visited in Salt Lake city from Thursday of last week until Monday with their daughters Mrs. J. Richard Crane and family, fam-ily, Mrs. I. B. McNulty and family. fam-ily. On Monday Captain and Mrs Dean Armstrong and family of Costa Mesa, Calif., called on friends in Mt. Pleasant. They were on their way to their new home in North Carolina, where Captain . Armstrong will be stationed sta-tioned with the Marine Air Corps. Mrs. Armstrong, the former for-mer Frances Jensen7 is the daughter of the late Morris Jensen, Jen-sen, and Mrs. Jensen who now lives in Costa Mesa, Calif. Miss Margaret Thompson went to Salt Lake city Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon for several days' visit with relatives and friends. Saturday night she will attend the all-state football game to be held in the University of Utah stadium. Miss Marilyn Redford of Salt Lake was a guest in the -J. R. Bagnall home last weekend. Mrs. Hugh Barentsen was hostess to the bridge club last Thursday evening. Prizes for high scores in bridge were a-wardeti a-wardeti to Mrs. Weldon Fowles and Mrs. Winn Tucker. Cox of Denver Den-ver visited with Mrs: Cox's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Faireld Lar- sen Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Rasmussen returned Saturday evening from a two week vacation, visiting friends and relatives in Idaho, Wendover, and Garfield.
