Show Fsneral Services Held Friday For James Clarence Clyde Funeral services for J. C. Clyde were conducted Friday at 2 p. m. in the Mt. Pleasant South Ward chapel by Bishop J. Seymour Jensen. The opening, song, "O My Father," was sung by the choir. Bishop A. L. Peterson offered the opening prayer. Alma Fullmer of Springville paid tribute to his memory and Mary Hafen sang, "In The Garden Gar-den of Tomorrow." Thomas Braby spoke of his life and character and Mrs. H. G. Ericksen played an organ solo, "Goin' Home." Leslie Kidman and President H. C. Jacobs paid tribute to his memory and Lo-raine Lo-raine Beck sang a solo, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine." Remarks were made by Bishop Jensen and the choir sang, "Resting "Rest-ing Now From Care and Sorrow." The closing prayer was offered by Ruel Seely. Bishop Ivan Carlston of Manti dedicated the grave and burial was under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. |
