Show Deer Hunters Take To The Tall Timber Thursday morning saw Mt. Pleas-ant's Pleas-ant's streets rather quiet compared to other days of the week, the rea-s:n rea-s:n being that nearly every deer hunter in the community had taken tak-en to the tall timber, or at any rate, to the foot hills, locking for a nice deer to bag and bring home. Captain Ernest G. Brunger was the first one to report success in the hunt and was on the streets early in the forenoon making preparations prep-arations to go- back up and bring his prize dcvn. He got his deer only a short distance up the canyon can-yon according to the report given to The Pyramid. Geo ge Squire was another successful hunter. There were a good number brought down, but we have no accurate count of the nnr.ter, but repo t-are t-are that the boys are having a good time. Andrew Norman and his sons were very successful in gluing glu-ing cne for each member . of the paty. |
