Show Utah Youths Arrive At Future Farmer Parley Utah's contingent of Future Farmers cf America arrived in Kansas Kan-sas City, Missouri Sunday to participate par-ticipate in the national convention of the organization October 15 to 2 a. Clyde Blain of Moroni will receive re-ceive the American Farmer degree, highest honor given by the organ- maim, wnne tnree judging teams will compete in national contests ' for students of vocational agricul-tu agricul-tu e under sponsorship of the American Amer-ican Royal Livestock Show. Competing against them will be state winners representing the best of 5603 local chapters and 171,000 me. rubers. I Representing the Utah organiza-lion organiza-lion as delegates are Ruel E. Cran- jdall of Springville, president, and Ronald Johnson of Beaver, secretary. secre-tary. Entering the list of stock judging teams will be four youths l.o.n Ephraim, Kent Christensen, Roy Mortensent, Kent Thursby and Alternate Al-ternate Evan Olsen. Asahel Perry is the team's adviser. Representing North Summit high school at Coalville is a poultry 1udK- ing team composed of twins, Keith and Kenneth Rees. Their adviser is Mark Matley. Jordan is rep.esented by a dairy Judging team composed of Ralph Bishop, Dean Smith and Jack Mc-Kee Mc-Kee under su;Jervislon of Paul Boyce. |
