Show Sugar Company Announces 1st Beel Payment Estimated Nearly $400,000 Will Be Paid Growers Of District About Novemebr 1 Beet growe.s in Sanpete and Sevier Se-vier counties, depending more than ever upon their beet crops, will welcome wel-come the announcement of the Gunnison Sugar company that initial ini-tial payments on all deliveries during dur-ing the present season, estimated at' - a ound $400,000, will be disbursed ty November 21st. The- .Tljking cf one payment on that date, instead of two, the first on November 15th for October deliveries de-liveries and the second on December Decem-ber 15 th for November deliveries, was ag eed to by the officials of the Sanpete and Sevier Beetgrowers' associations as-sociations and is in line with the liebral i.olicy the Gunnison Sugar company adapts with its growers. The initial payment per ton. according ac-cording to R. T. Harris, president of the sugar company, who, in announcing an-nouncing the payment, recognizes the imperative needs cf the growers grow-ers to have at least one profitable crop this year, '"will be in the highest amount justified by the sugae in the beets and the market prices fee sugaj-, after further con-s con-s sulfations with the officials of the : growers' associations." : ..
