Show CHILD SUFFERS BURNS IN FARM BLAZE Kenneth Jennings. 9-year old sen of M". and Mrs. C. E. Jennings, prominent dairy farmers of this city, suffered first degree burns on his hand and face in a fire which Monday evening destroyed faim property valued at $4000 to $5000 cn their farm three miles west cf this city. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings were at their Milbu n farm when their two sons, Mansfield. 18, and Kenneth, 9, began the evening chores. An explosion ex-plosion in a gasoline milking machine ma-chine caused a fire which spread rapidly to five hay stacks, barns, sheds, fences and dairy equipment. The large daily herd was d.iven to safety toy the boys, with the less cf only one calf, burned in the bam. Th farm, for many years the property of the Rasmus Anderson family, was re -cutty purchased by John Winkelmnn, who had expected to take I'ossessicn this fall . No insurance in-surance was carried. |
